Engaging Stakeholders and Beneficiaries
No organization works in a vacuum. In our interconnected world partnerships are increasingly important for understanding and achieving the impact of our collective work towards sustainable development. While traditionally a data collection and analysis tool, GIS has evolved to enable our work to be shared and integrated in an unprecedented manner. Increasingly GIS platforms serve as collaboration "Hubs" which allow secure collaboration within partnerships as well as open data services which can power maps and apps to engage stakeholders whether they are grantees, beneficiaries, donors or the public.
